Here's a New York City 7-11 advert that's been vandalized for a political message. Perhaps an anti-political message? Leave a comment and let me know what you guys think the vandals were trying to get across to the general public. Unfortunately I have to work most of the day, make sure you have a great Saturday folks!
uhm i rlly didn't get a lot of what that should mean except for what there's write on it i mean i can't get the anti-political message
ReplyDeleteWow, that's pretty inventive actually. 911 definitely gets used way too much to try to justify anti-constitutional "security" measures.
ReplyDeleteActually hits pretty hard. Very deliberate in making it seem like nothing will ever be the same since this incident.
ReplyDeletehaha, nice "ad" :D
ReplyDeleteLoL, NYC ad vandalism.
ReplyDeleteI dunno what you're referring to, but how can vandalism to help something and making it better?
that's a schnazzy ad though
ReplyDeletethat was clever
ReplyDeleteThat was, indeed, pretty clever. I feel kind of indifferent towards its message, though.
ReplyDeleteIt is true though, 9/11 is sometimes just over used.
ReplyDeleteIt's sneaky and quite creative if not politically incorrect.
ReplyDeletewow, that's pretty witty. I think the most ridiculous thing about advertisements is the fact that it works so incredibly well with the media, as long as there is exposure to a mass, you're guaranteed success. because at least ONE person of a few will like the thing you're advertising about.
ReplyDeletecool blog man! come check mine out when you have a chance :)
supporting!!
so true...
ReplyDeletelol.. agreed
ReplyDeleteYa politicians have been using 9/11 a bit too much.
ReplyDeleteAd didn't show up for me. Conspiracy? haha!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog, love the banner you created for the Herping Derp. I think this sign is trying to say that tragedy has happened to all peoples of the world, and that tragedy shouldn't be used as an excuse to create more of the same.
ReplyDeleteI find that a little offensive
ReplyDeletedo you know who the author of this is?
ReplyDeleteNice
ReplyDeleteThe message behind it might even be true even though it' s rather hard....
ReplyDeletelol man
ReplyDeleteLOL agreed
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, your blog is pretty damn sweet
ReplyDeletewell ummm, I dont know of any way 9/11 been used lately to justify anything. then again i dont live anywhere near new york. the only annoying thing is someone has to clean it up eventually.
ReplyDeletealso i hope people who make messages like these are politically active in other ways too
NYC street art is the best.
