Graffiti Subway Ad

Sorry about today's lack of posts, been busy with work. The weekend is here though, so let's enjoy it (although I still have to work....). Here's an ad at an unknown subway bus warning graffiti writers.

How do you feel about graffiti?

  13. I think controlled graffiti is ok, when they are allowed to do so on pointed out walls.
But when people do it illegally I say throw em behind steel.

  15. Grafiti is a pretty cool art form but most people don't like people painting on their walls.

  16. i love political and non gang related graffiti,
but even some gang related stuff looks rad.
its a very unique art that adds a thrill.

  17. As long as it's not offensive or obscene who gives a shit?

  18. That's some creative advertising. I get the whole anti-graffiti thing tho. Some people just don't want their shit painted. But you'd be surprised that if you just tell them what you want to do they might be cool with it. Some might even pay.

Love the smart advertising, people thinking out of the box, etc. That's why I like comin here!

  23. Positive graffiti that actually improves a normally desolate area that looks abandoned is a great form of artistic expression, however to tag peoples advertisements just to be cool and LOOK I CAN DRAW GOODS is rude.

  24. I love it... it just had to be a grungy looking guy sitting there too

  25. I think graffiti can be artisitic and not a bad thing depending on the style and meaning behind it. Someone randomly writing "fuck you" on a wall is pointless

  26. controlled graffiti can be quite amazing, but it shouldn't be rampant on buildings that are in use, or that are in the public eye all day.

  27. It depends on what kind it is. I have a cousin who does GREAT art. Not the "tagging" kind. I hate those dirty taggings on the wall.

  28. This is really clever. The city where I live is covered in tags and stuff. No real legit graffiti. I'm totally fine with it if it looks good. Very nice, bro.
