Confusing Ads.

Not all ads are good. Some are just plain confusing like the Lovell Beer Ads. In fact, most ads aren't even memorable. And then, you get some that are memorable, but for the wrong reason. Such as, they don't make any sense at all.

Here, take this Samsung ad for example:

For those who can't read the text, it says "Even a Weather Forecast looks like a work of art". What is that what kind of weather forecaster dresses like that? Why does it look like she's twirling strings of light? I wouldn't even know this was for a TV unless I saw the picture on the bottom right hand corner.

Sony has been known to do some rather strange ads. But this one for the PSP still doesn't make sense to me:

If someone wants to interpret this for me, by all means, do so.

And then from PETA, I just ended up staring for a good minute before realizing this wasn't an ad for pornography.

Who still rides horse carriages in this day and age anyways?

  2. Horse carriages aren't cruel. You can't keep humans in bed all day either, now can you?
Also, the Sony one is very interesting. Typography could've been a bit better, but looks very interesting nonetheless.

well - lets say you have a gf and she gets run over by a train b/c falling in the tracks and then her remains or "bits" will be plastered on the ad, thus making it make sense
