A particular person caught my interest the other day thanks to a family member. Now, if you're like my sister and regularly watch the Food Network you may have also heard of Sandra Lee. Now, what makes Lee so special? Well, she's on a COOKING (big emphasis on that word) channel, and this is the kind of stuff her show makes:
What. Is. This. Nonsense. Not a single bit of baking done, all store bought goods and then rearranged in the tackiest fashion possible.
Oh wait, she even has books.
Then again, I'm not too surprised. I mean, this is what she used to sell prior to her "no cooking" cooking show.
this is background television
ReplyDeleteI facepalmed so hard at all that. God...
ReplyDeleteThis makes no sense, at all.
ReplyDeleteThis is why she is on Food Network:

I love some of her alcohol concoctions, she seems to just love getting trashed on her show and making up whatever food she wants.
ReplyDeleteYep that's about right. you don't have to be able to cook to have a show. Just like you don't have to have any talent to be a singer
ReplyDeleteWell... It's the Food Network, not the Cooking Network. Even to it's ridiculously stupid, they get ratings when they target the part of their audience that wants to have tasty-ish things without actually doing work.
ReplyDeleteIt's all about money in the long run.
ahahaha, SEMI-homemade... :D
ReplyDeleteSandra-Lee is just bad all together.
ReplyDeleteThat cake looks awful
ReplyDeletei dont even know what the food network is
ReplyDeleteThat cake looks horrible... its missing some creme fraiche
ReplyDeleteWhat is the food network?
ReplyDeleteive never heard of her , and i dont think ill be eating any of her food :)
ReplyDeleteCooking is hard work, I just want to impress my friends and get attention with the least effort possible, durrrrrrrrrrr.
ReplyDeleteI cant stand some of the cooking programes....
ReplyDeletesome programs are great when they make something from scratch but this is crap....
ReplyDeletelol nice catch!
ReplyDeleteThat is bad, real bad.
ReplyDeleteLol, good catch by you. I don't need someone else to tell me how to cook the food I like already
ReplyDeleteThe Food Network makes me so hungry haha
ReplyDeletehahahah, gotta love people use use looks to get somewhere brains could never take them.
ReplyDeleteIts like Martha Stewart all over again.
ReplyDeleteWell, it IS the food network :/
ReplyDeleteSemi-homemade, I laughed :)
ReplyDeletelol'd
ReplyDeleteShe's a fake, why do we need people like her =/
ReplyDeleteshe makes me rage!
ReplyDeleteI'd never heard of her... Maybe she'll come to aussie soon :|
ReplyDeleteWell the fact that she knows NOTHING about cooking is irrelevant i think shes hot. But my heart goes to Rachel Ray Damn shes got some fine curves
ReplyDeleteWhat a fraud. At least Marc Summers is cool! Thank you for Double Dare, Marc!
ReplyDeleteI agree with ed (:
ReplyDeleteI guess just for the simple people that follow it? :/
ReplyDeleteLove the blog style! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteSeems like there's no effort involved in what she's doing at all.
ReplyDeleteI like to cook sometimes, nd by cooking I mean Real cooking... ;)
ReplyDeletedat Sandra Lee...
ReplyDeleteShe's selling stuff with her appearance.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, but if the formula works and gets ratings then it is 'good tv'.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually studying to be a pastry chef and this pisses me off. I've watched the food network for YEARS now and I must say its gone to shit. I mean shes always been on the air, and I've always hated her, but now they have so many shit chefs on there that at that rate they'll all be like her.
ReplyDeleteI love some of her alcohol concoctions, she seems to just love getting trashed on her show and making up whatever food she wants.
