There are now some awesome digital bus ads around NYC and a few other cities, which are LCD displays with shared ad space, here's one from a New York bus:

When advertising is done right, it can be amazing. Not just from an entertainment perspective, but regarding how effective they can be at selling a product.

Coke ad is quite good actually and the LCD signs have been put to good use at football (soccer) matches over here.
